Mallet or Blade Putter

The putter is the most used golf club in the bag though it is not give its deserved respect. There are two main designs for the putter, the mallet and the blade putter. The blade putter has most of its mass towards the center and the ball whereas the mallet putter has its weight in the back. Which putter you choose really depends on how you play. Both styles work great and do their job right.

There are many manufacturers that carry these putter styles including Nike, Ping, and Taylor Made. Every golf player should have a Mallet Putter and a Blade Putter in their golf bag. The question is, should I use a mallet or blade putter? The answer is, both! Each one at its own time.
