Golf Putters
Putters are only one kind of a golf club that is found in every golfer’s golf bag. As any golfer knows, every club has its own job and every type of swing needs a certain golf club. Putters are important for every game of golf, though they may not get all the attention they deserve. There are two main types of golf putters, the blade type and the mallet type. Both putters are important for every golfer but are different in terms of the way they are built.
The design of golf putters is different from other golf clubs such as irons and woods. They are usually used for close distances from the cup, generally on the putting green. There isn’t a single club in the golfer’s bag that is absolutely required by any strict rule, but if there was, the putter would come pretty close. Putters usually have a loft of 5° but can’t be more than 10°.
