A golf cart, or golf car as some call them since a cart is not self-propelled, is a small automobile intended to transport two golfers and their golf clubs across the golf course instead of having them walk. Golf carts come in many styles and sizes and are manufactured by many different companies. One of the main differences between golf carts and regular carts is the speed. Golf carts are much slower and are not designed to go fast.

They are usually used to transport small numbers of people and for short distances. A golf cart can cost anywhere between $3,000 and $15,000. The price of the golf cart depends on whether it is new or used, what brand it is, and what special features it possesses.
