Electric Golf Cart

Electric golf carts were the first electrically powered vehicles that were mass produced for private consumer use. Golf carts, or golf cars as some call them since technically a cart is not self-powered, are used on almost every golf carts as well as other areas where larger vehicles such as cars are not able or are not allowed to enter. Originally, golf carts were electric. Later the gas versions became more popular.

Today there are still electric golf carts. EZ-GO, Harley Davidson, Yamaha, and Taylor Dunn are just a few names of golf cart manufacturers. Mostly, golf carts are used on golf courses. But golf carts are used in other places and for other purposes. Aside from being used to transport golfers they are used to transport people with disabilities in places such as airports. These golf carts usually have more than two seats so that a few passengers can ride at the same time with the driver.
