How much did you spend for your most used club?

Monday, November 26th, 2007

Before the store receipts come out for your woods, or irons, or even long drivers such as the Big Bertha, think first. While playing the 18 holes yesterday, how many times did you pull out your driver? Well, definitely not the same one for the par 5s and the par 3s. The same goes for your woods and irons. The pitching or the sand wedge? Only if each drive lands you in the rough or the traps, and that leaves you with the ubiquitous putter. That short little club is probably your most used club, but also the club you paid the least for. Putting is one of the more overlooked aspects of the game. So if you’re looking for a little improvement, consider getting some of the new putters out there today.
