You do not need to be a technology genius to arrive at the conclusion that the technology world is changing. It has been for over a decade now. The primary reason for this change is the mind boggling invention of the Internet. The Internet enables us to do things that our parents could only dream of like go food shopping from the comfort of your home or research a topic without seeing the inside of a library. However, the Internet is not the only factor in this change that we are witnessing.
Cell phones have contributed to the development of the tech world just as much as the Internet and there are those that claim even more. Today’s cell phones literally enable you to do pretty much anything from any location. You can receive promotions to your phone via Mobile marketing and SMS marketing and you can utilize the Internet no matter where you might be located at any given moment.
However, the Mobile Web, also known as WAP is far from perfect. It has not ripened to its potential and some will claim that it will never actually get a chance to that, with the new and developing theme of phones that support full Web and not just plain old WAP. These phones display websites just as you would see them at home and not the mobile website or wap site that you would have seen on your phone five years ago.
