Take the Time – Travel China
Many times I hear people talk about how they are looking for new and exciting destinations to travel and that they feel like they are just recycling the same old trips. But no one is suggesting that even our small world is not large enough for a lifetime of travels and even the most experienced traveler always has new places to discover. The problem is usually either budget or time. Since many interesting destinations require a larger budget and in many cases just can’t be crammed in the typical week long vacation.
However people with more time to spare (money to spare helps too but is not necessarily a requirement) are the ones who can enjoy the real exotic destinations and discover some true adventures. A great place to visit if you have at least three weeks to spend is China and the Far East. While the region is huge and even in several months you won’t be able to cover a fraction of what is to see you can focus on some areas and discover different cultures. If your starting point is Hong Kong, be sure to make a stop in Guangzhou, less than 100 miles away.
Besides being one of the largest metropolitans in China, Guangzhou has many tourist attractions including the Guangdong Provincial Museum, the Shishi Holy Heart Cathedral and theTemple of the Six Banyan Trees. There are many great hotels in Guangzhou you can stay in with a hotel for pretty much any budget. As traveling in China is typically a long venture and can become quite costly, be sure to check out asiahotels.com to find a huge selection of cheap asian hotels to keep your trip within your budget.
