Recently I was comparing car insurance quotes online and was happy to go with the cheapest deal. But I discovered that I could have actually gotten a cheaper deal by going directly to the insurer I wound up using since the price comparison site increased the quote to include their commission. Since then I learned to use gocompare.com. With them the price they quote is the same as by the insurer and they don’t charge anything for their service.
