Heard of Thoof?

Have you heard of Thoof? I have just discovered this service a few days ago and already I am finding myself spending hours a day on the site. Slowly Thoof is becoming my number one source for news and information. If you are unfamiliar with Thoof.com, they are a new personalized news site which allows users to submit content from around the web. It’s great because you can find interesting articles about topics you want based on categories you are interested in. This beets having to dig into general news sites and go through tons of articles and pages that just aren’t interesting for you in order to find the stuff you want. Thoof puts it all in one place.

But while there are other services based on a similar principle, Thoof added some very unique features which makes it a just terrific. For one thing, other users have the option of changing the title and description featured on the site for each article to better describe what the article is about. This prevents other misleading situations common on other sites. Also, each site is granted a Thoof Rank badge which displays the sites rank based on the percentage of Thoof users that found the article interesting with reference to its category.
