Love the Police

I'll be honest. I never really take much interest in singers and artists. I mean, I like music and listen to the radio all the time - but I rarely ever go out and buy an individual CD or download any songs from the internet. The truth is, I just wouldn't know what to buy. The problem is that even the songs that I like, I just don't know who sings them. I king of phase out that part on the radio when they say their names. That's why when I was asked to write a review about The Police's new album, I initially hesitated. I figured I don't know much about them and can't give a real opinion. Let someone else do it!

But then I took a look at the video clip that was included (see below) and suddenly realized - I love The Police! I just never knew it. I was shocked to find out that most of my favorite songs were actually performed by them. I always used to like hits like "Roxanne", "Bring on the Night”, "Message in a Bottle" and more but I had no idea they were all by the same band - The Police. Okay, I know this makes me sound stupid. But I never thought it really mattered to know WHO sings the song, as long as I like hearing it. Well, I am actually happy to learn who they are now (and to realize I was a fan all along) since I'm going out to buy the new Police CD collection. I like a lot of songs on the list and some other I just don't recognize from the name. Who knows, maybe I'll discover some more of my favorites are there too!
