Whoops… You missed a bit!
Fox has finally released the DVD version of their hit movie - Reno 911! Miami The Movie. For those of you who haven't seen the movie, it is based on the popular Reno 911 T.V series following the loser group of law enforcement men and women of the Reno sheriff department. The T.V series is sort of a parody on the show Cops. In the movie the teem heads to Miami for a law enforcement convention but as things turn out they find out they are not registered when they arrive and can't attend.
In a Hollywood style turn of events, the building where the convention is taking place gets taken over by terrorists. This leaves the Reno sheriff department's team, the only law enforcement team in town. The result is a must see comedy.
To celebrate the release, Fox have added four flash games to their site in the spirit of the movie. I liked the Midnight Shootout game best. The game gives you a quick five second glimpse of various shootout scenes throughout the city and your job is to remember the scene within fix seconds. Then the screen turns black and you are required to shoot blindly into the dark trying to hit as many bad guys as possible (and doing your best to avoid hitting innocent bystanders!). When you're done, your stats come on screen and if you are like me you probably did more harm than good. But don't worry, that makes you a perfect candidate for the Reno sheriff department. In the last scene you are given a rocket launcher and are asked to take down the building with the terrorists but then the screen turns blank again and I wound up taking down most of the buildings in downtown Miami. But I still got an official invitation to join the Reno force, after all, what's a building or two...
